Waste plate feeder
A waste plate feeder is a robust, industrial-grade machine that ensures a consistent supply of waste material from storage bins to the crushing and transportation stages of a processing plant.
Waste plate feeders are available in three different capacities to accommodate various material throughput requirements: heavy-duty, medium-duty, and light-duty. The transmission system can be positioned on the right or left side of the machine, allowing for flexible installation and operation
Introduction to Waste Plate Feeder
The high-strength, die-forged chain serves as the machine's traction component. It forms a closed loop by encircling a pair of drive sprockets at the front and a pair of tension wheels at the rear. Overlapping, heavy-duty conveying troughs are attached to the chain joints, creating a continuous line for material transport. Multiple rows of rollers, sprocket wheels, and slide beams support the weight of both the machine and the conveyed material. An AC variable frequency speed regulating motor powers the transmission system via a reducer and expansion sleeve. This drives the carrier mechanism at a low speed. Material discharged from the rear silo is conveyed along the chain to the front of the machine, ensuring a continuous and uniform feed to downstream equipment.
Apron Feeder Applications
Apron feeders are versatile continuous transport machines employed across numerous industries, including:
Waste Management: Separation lines
Mining and Metallurgy: Ore and raw material processing
Construction Materials: Bulk material handling
Ports: Cargo handling
Coal and Chemical Industries: Material transfer
Primarily, apron feeders are used to:
Continuously and uniformly feed large, heavy objects and abrasive bulk materials.
Transfer materials from storage bins or transfer funnels to crushers, batching devices, or transportation equipment.
As such, they are essential components in many industrial processes, enabling efficient and reliable material handling operations.
